Groupe Mathieu
A journey marked by authenticity and passion
As twin brothers, Alain and Sylvain Mathieu have been accomplices from an early age, so much so that they both developed a keen interest in the same field: residential construction.
After obtaining his general contractor’s license at just 16 years of age, Alain founded his new residential construction company, which he named Bri-Mat. Sylvain soon followed with Croissant de Lune constructions. The Mathieu brothers then set up a joint venture, Les Associés du Nord, to manage their respective companies. They then set up Constructions Alain Mathieu and Constructions Sylvain Mathieu.
In 2008, the Mathieu brothers decided to combine all their companies under a single name – Groupe Mathieu – offering their customers a one-stop shop. This family-run business is built on the values that are dear to the Mathieu family: honesty, respect and trust. Astonishingly, Alain Mathieu is the youngest general contractor to have received the APCHQ’s Diamond Award, presented for 25 consecutive years of quality construction.
Building on the experience they’ve acquired over the years, the Mathieu brothers now offer future homeowners and tenants a diverse choice of new residences on Montreal’s North Shore and in Laval, to suit a wide range of lifestyles.
